Join us for a Spring celebration at the Claremont Hotel in Berkeley!
Spring Portrait Photo Fundraiser
Spring has sprung here at HRS and what could be sweeter than having photos of our furry family member to celebrate their growth. Each appointment includes a gentle brushing, nail trim, gland cleaning, and two professional high resolution digital photos along with a special goodie bag of toys. The digital photos will be sent by email approximately 2 -3 weeks after the event. Appointments are limited; proof of RHDV2 vaccination required.
Spring Rabbit Yoga
Join us for our Spring Rabbit Yoga! Each session is 45 minutes long and includes instruction of various poses, breathing exercises, and quality time with the HRS adoptable rescue rabbits. All proceeds fund our rescue and community service programs.
Be sure to wear comfortable clothes, socks, and bring your own yoga mat. Water provided!
Online registration is required as space is limited.

Join House Rabbit Society for our spring open house on Saturday, May 17, from 11 am to 4 pm. The event will be held at our facility at 148 Broadway in Richmond, California. There’s no ticket for entry. If it's been some time since you've been by, come in to see what’s new and reconnect with the bunnies and the community! And if you've never been to HRS before, we would love to meet you!

We are inspiring the next generation of future veterinarians, shelter professionals, and rabbit owners through the joys of reading. ‘Read With A Rabbit’ provides children with the opportunity to practice reading skills in a calm, quiet environment that is perfect for spending quality time with a rabbit. Bring a book or grab a few during your visit.

4th Annual Holiday Bunny Bazaar
Make plans to join us for our 4th annual holiday bunny bazaar on December 13, from 11 to 3 pm! Stop by for a selection of gifts, food, music, activities and merriment! We'll have a toy making station where you can make something that will be fun for your bunny to discover (and destroy). There will be various rabbit keepsakes and trinkets and other unique gift items for the rabbit lovers in your life along with a hot cocoa bar (with vegan options) available by donation. Check out the HRS Hop Shop for some holiday specials, too.
There's no ticket for entry. We'll have a free, exclusive HRS holiday bunny sticker for anyone who stops by, so don't miss out! All proceeds support rabbit rescue and education. We hope to see you there!

Atchison Village Community Day
The event is outdoors, and while it officially begins at 11 AM, residents will be coming and going throughout the day. They will be a DJ, Aztec dancing at noon, and a variety of other activities. We will bring rabbits to showcase how great of a family addition they are.

Holiday Boarding Sign-ups Open
Booking reservations for holiday boarding open on September 1st at 10am. Traveling for the holidays and need care for your rabbit while you’re away? We will be opening additional boarding runs to accommodate even more rabbits during this busy season. All food, greens, toys, and supplies are provided to keep your rabbit happy and healthy during their stay. We hope to see you (and your rabbit) this holiday season!
